ICC Ongwen Defence Trial

As trial of LRA war lord Dominic Ongwen concluded its second day at The Hague in The Netherlands, 1^st defence witness Yusuf Adek who is a cultural leader in Acholi gave testimony on the creation of internally displaced Camps (IDP’s).

In his testimony Rwot Yusuf Adek said people were forced into the IDP’s camps by government troops.

He also referred to an attack at Lukome IDP in 2002, although he was not sure whether Dominic Ongwen had commanded the operation. Benson ongom has been following the trial from The Hague and now gives us a wrap of the day’s major findings.
