Written by on October 25, 2018

US rapper, actor and businessman mogul Curtis James Jackson, better known as 50 Cent is scheduled to arrive in Uganda.  It has not been established whether or not 43 year old will be here for business or recreational reasons.  50 Cent himself was by Wednesday evening yet to confirm his trip but, but officials in the tourism business did confirm.  Amos Wekesa, the proprietor of the Great Lakes Safaris first made the announcement on social media.  Wekesa later told us the rapper did not book his trip through his company but added that the trip itself has been confirmed.  “We are not the ones handling him but I know he is coming. We are still getting better details,” Wekesa told us.  Another high ranking official in the Uganda Police, who said he has first-hand information about the visit but declined to be quoted publicly, told us further details will be revealed later.  “The details about when he is arriving, and where he is staying is all nascent at this stage,” the official said.  The development comes less than two weeks after yet another top notch US rapper Kenye West visited the country, along with his wife Kim Kardashian.  The couple spent four days at the Chobe Safari Lodge Murchison Falls National Par working on Kanye’s impending new album.
