How Minister Kibuule’s twins drowned in home swimming pool

Twins belonging to state Minister for Water and Environment Ronald Kibuule have this evening drowned in a swimming pool, the Nile Post has learnt.
Kibuule confirmed the incident happened at his home at Kasenge village, Mbalala parish, Nama sub-county in Mukono district.
They have been going to the pool under supervision but today their mother was away,”Kibuule told NBS Television in a phone interview.
“It seems the care takers were reluctant and the kids went to the pool by themselves.”
He however noted that when one kid drowned, the second one could have tried to rescue the brother and both ended up in the deep waters.
The information and ICT minister Frank Tumwebaze through a tweet condoled with the minister cum Mukono North Member of Parliament.
“I have just learnt with deep pain and shock about the tragedy of Comrade and brother hon. Kibuule’s children. May the almighty God be with him and his family in this most painful moment,”Tumwebaze tweeted.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the incident and named the deceased as Kato and Wasswa who were two and a half years.
“The incident happened at around 7:30 pm and inquiries into the matter are still ongoing,”Owoyesigyire said.
The bodies have been taken to Mulago city mortuary for postmortem.
