The high Court in Kampala has sent Pine Car Bond Proprietor Muhammad Sebuwufu and seven others to Luzira after convicting them of charges related to the murder of former businesswoman Donah Katushabe.  Sebuwufu alongside six others were convicted of three counts of murder, kidnap with intent to murder and aggravated robbery while one has been convicted with being an accessory after crime.  The trial judge Anglin Ssenoga convicted the group saying prosecution had proved a proper case against them placing all accused at the scene of crime.

She added that each of the now convicts played a role in the unlawful acts that finally led to the death of Donah Katushabe.  Court found that the group lied to Donah when they picked her from her home in Bwebajja to the Pine Car Bond where she was supposed to negotiate payment of a loan balance of nine million shillings as part of a car purchase.  According to the judge,Katushabe was instead  tortured ,a process through which she suffered harm and later succumbed to death.  The judge disagreed with defense argument that Donah died of natural causes saying it’s the bodily harm caused to her by the group and others at large that led to her death.  Justice Senoga further argued that prosecution proved that the convicts had robbed Donah of a mobile phone worth 300,000=
