In a poster photo that went viral online, Barbie Kyagulanyi appears to be seeking for votes from the Kyadondo East community as she looks forward to becoming their next Member of Parliament. She regards it as a ‘fake’! In June 2019, reports on how Bobi Wine’s wife Mrs. Kyagulanyi Barbie Itungo was eyeing the Wakiso Woman Member of Parliament seat come 2021 circulated online. She denied the reports. On Thursday evening, Mrs. Kyagulanyi went on to distance herself from being interested in vying for any political seat next year. She was clearing the air following a photo of her that was shared indicating that she was to stand for the Kyadondo East MP seat, a position her husband currently holds. Through Facebook, Barbie Kyagulanyi revealed that she is not interested in contesting for any parliamentary or leadership position and hence asked her followers to dismiss the viral photo. Firstly, my name is not “Sentamu”, it is Kyagulanyi and neither am I called “Barbi”. I am currently not interested in contesting for any parliamentary or any other position of leadership and this below is not true. Please dismiss it with the contempt it deserves.
