Popularly known as Mama Kla, Maritza is an eccentric articulate, and artsy media personality, blogger, and spoken artist who uses her gift of the gab to explore and share experiences as a millennial in Uganda.
She has been the host of Evoke, Uganda’s Evoke Night since Season 1. Her sense of humor and style is guaranteed to light up any situation thrown her way.
She has an International Baccalaureate Diploma and went to Law School at Cavendish University Uganda. Maritza came onto the entertainment scene as a spoken word artist and host of the longest-running poetry platform, Open Mic Uganda.
She landed a job on prime-time radio only a year later. She has also hosted and produced two Tv shows and is a resourceful events coordinator and host.
