Female Rwandan national, bodyguard shot dead on Entebbe Expressway

Police in Entebbe is investigating circumstances under which a Rwandan national and her bodyguard were shot dead along the Entebbe expressway road close to Mpala stage in the wee hours of Thursday night.  The shooting happened around 11.50 PM and sources in Police have identified the victims as Ruhegyera Ntereho Joshua, a body guard and resident of Katabi, Mpala who according to Police, was shot from close range.  The Rwandan national has also been identified as Kamikazi Princess.  Sources from Police told the Nile Post that they suspect whoever that carried out the shooting did it from inside the car, a black Toyota Land Cruiser registration number UAW534B which they were travelling in.  “We have identified the victims as Ruhegyera Ntereho Joshua, a bodyguard and resident of Katabi, Mpala and Kamikazi Princess a Rwandan national. Whoever carried out the shooting was from inside the car,” a source from Police told Nile Post.  The Nile Post has also established that Police found an AK47 rifle on the crime scene next to the body of the shot bodyguard.  NBS Television journalists that arrived at crime scene moments after the shooting were not allowed to have LIVE telecasts at the scene for security reasons.  The bodies of the victims were put on a police truck and whisked away for further investigations.  At the time of compiling this report, this website was not able to get a comment from the Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga.
