Uganda’s pioneer audio-visual radio station, Nxt Radio has launched a new weekend show called Reggaelize it. This show is dedicated to strictly reggae music and will be presented by renowned reggae music lover, Blaze.

BLAZE

It premiered on Sunday 29th March and the show is intended to showcase the breadth of the reggae music, playing reggae’s biggest tunes. Reggaelize it will air every Sunday starting at 4 PM East African Time.

The new two-hour show will provide listeners with great reggae mixes, new releases laid down by Deejay Geeman, and news surrounding the reggae world and deep insights into the genre with origins from Jamaica and much more. #NxtReggaelizeIt joins our amazing line-up of shows which includes shows like morning zoo, the lounge, transit, situationship to mention but a few. The show will also include guest artists, interviews with world famous reggae musicians, deejays and reggae trivia.

DEEJAY GEEMAN

This is not the first time Blaze is working on radio. He has previously done a reggae show on Touch FM and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field & genre. His love for reggae music has seen him traverse numerous countries to watch his favorite reggae artists perform.

Although Reggae music has gained massive popularity in bars, bufundas and the local entertainment scene in recent years, it was not getting enough airplay on local radio. Reggae lovers now have something to smile about since Reggaelize it will be a show dedicated strictly to reggae music. Just tune in to 106.1 FM or stream live via the Nxt radio UG app or website to catch the show every Sunday from 4 to 6 PM.
