Written by on November 16, 2018

There was drama at the Central Police Station in Kampala on Thursday afternoon after a group of youths stormed the facility with pig heads tied around their necks.  Early this month, a group of five people dropped two piglets at the Bank of Uganda premises before taking off.  On Thursday, leaders of the Jobless Brotherhood including Augustine Ojobile and Robert Mayanja tried to force themselves through the entrance of the Central Police Station with pig heads tied around their necks.  Donning white t-shirts with blood from the heads flowing all over their bodies, the group were engaged in a scuffle with police officers as they tried to force themselves past the station check point.  They were later arrested and detained at the Central Police Station.  Speaking to the Nile Post later, the group’s lawyer, Isaac Ssemakadde said they had shown up in respond to summons by police for throwing piglets at Bank of Uganda.
