Parents in Soroti Tasked to Provide For Their Children

Parents in Soroti district and Teso at large have been challenged and tasked to take good care of their children by providing basic needs and up bring them with good morals such that they do not go astray and ending up becoming a nuisance in the community

According to the vice chairperson LC5 Soroti and the in charge children’s affairs, Hon Simon Edoru the reckless actions on parents greatly affect the wellbeing of their children and therefore tasked them execute their responsibilities appropriately.

Edoru further acknowledged that the rights of the children are greatly violated or abused across the county, adding that the parents are squarely responsible despite other factors

He however stated that government has done its best to initiate good programs that have helped children be protected and enjoy their rights and freedoms.

The MP for Soroti municipality Hon Herbert Edmund Ariko   has publicly disclosed his position as a strong member of FDC party as opposed to public perception and opinions that he belongs to General Mugisha Muntus’s camp
