Mass media and entertainment conglomerate, Disney has officially moved Black Widow back another six months until May 2021. This, according to Disney is due to the effects on the coronavirus pandemic. Similarly, Eternals, which was initially supposed to be released in November has been to November next year.

2020, marks the first year in 10 years that an MCU film has not been released. Since the franchise started in 2008 with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, 2009 was the only year that the studio hadn’t managed to offer up a new movie. From 2010 onwards, there was at least one release per year.

There is still something coming up from the MCU this year for Disney Plus subscribers. TV series WandaVision, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany is expected to be released in December.  Also, 2021 will have a total of four MCU movies – Black Widow in May, Shang-Chi, and The Legend of the Ten Rings in July, Eternals in November, and Spider-Man 3 in December.
