A mural has been unveiled in California’s Downtown Disney in tribute to fallen Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman. The mural, designed by artist Nikkolas Smith shows Boseman offering a Wakandan salute to a child in a hospital gown and Black Panther mask.

The Black Panther star died from colon cancer at just 43 years old and was a hero both for his portrayal of King T’Challa and for the example he set outside the movie scene. Before he died, he visited children fighting terminal illnesses all while battling a disease of his own.

Nikkolas Smith, who is Disney’s Imagineer posted several photos of the mural to his Instagram, along with a video of the unveiling. He said this in his caption:

“This one is special to me. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney. It is a full-circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children’s Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T’Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I’m so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick’s life and purpose in this way. I’m grateful to the Disney family for being so supportive of my journey as an artist.”
